Neil Dempsey

I have always tried to build on my experience by taking on new challenges. I still feel there is a lot to learn from our industry and it’s how you apply your knowledge that makes a difference.
Neil began his career with global broking firms Sedgwick and Willis Faber and Dumas in London before migrating to Australia. He moved from a claims role into reinsurance broking for 7 years before making the switch to reinsurance underwriting. In 2003 Neil took the challenge of building a book of business from scratch with newly licensed insurer, Assetinsure where he remained as the Property Manager for 13 years.
Neil joined an underwriting agency where he had a further 3 years of underwriting to Lloyd’s and Company binders in a senior role before joining @ Risk Underwriting.
Sam Sousou

Spending the entirety of his career focusing on casualty, Sam has a wealth of experience holding various underwriting, mentoring and management positions with general insurers and Lloyd’s Coverholders. He has demonstrated the ability to continually run and grow profitable portfolios and is an accomplished and well respected figure in the market.
Joining @ Risk Underwriting with a combination of leadership, relationship development and portfolio management, coupled with a dedicated bespoke product, he provides an all-encompassing solution that serves to benefit the needs of the market.
